OVERVIEW OF DO NOT CALL REGULATIONS
Do Not Call regulations are designed to protect consumers from unwanted telemarketing calls. Key regulations include:
- National Do Not Call Registry: Managed by the FTC, covers most telemarketing calls
- Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA): Restricts autodialed and prerecorded calls
- Telemarketing Sales Rule (TSR): Sets standards for telemarketing practices
- State DNC Laws: Additional requirements that may be more restrictive than federal law
